What was the highlight of Hotel Chic & Basic Velvet
Good value for money, nice hotel and friendly staff!
Nice rooms, small but everything you need., the bed was big and selection of pillows (2x soft, 2x firm) Asked for a travel cot and there was one in our room ready for us. Lots of clean towels, shampoo and shower gel was also provided. Water and refreshments were also supplied to our room which was great.
As some of the other reviews say it is very noisy, not just outside noise if you want to sleep with the windows open (which isn’t the hotels fault) but the internal corridors if anyone is walking down them you will hear everything they say, and the hotel room doors are so loud when they are closed with Guests slamming doors at all hours.

Good
Breakfast area is very nice, breakfast buffet is really good, it’s great to have access to coffee and other drinks throughout the day
Pillows weren’t comfortable, no air conditioning or fan to cool down the room, hallways are unpleasantly dark (very little light)

First of all, great location, modern interior and excellent large terrace! Thank you for your service! Sincere gratitude for free coffee with cream, water and tea.
View from the window to the patio means that you see the window of neighbor's room at a distance probably 3 meters. There was not enough fresh air. Next time I'll book another room, but at this hotel!
